The Dessert Tray

UHere's My New Dessert Tray. These songs are some of the best out right now and i have listened to them over and over and have completely fallen in love with them. The song's on this list have actually sorta themed together and a apart of a small summer collection of songs that i will be jamming to throughout the summer. So take a listen:

Alive

The sound of Goldfrapp's new album is pure 80s and the most outstanding track in my eyes is Alive. Its pure love and fun and i absolutely adore the video, which you can find in an earlier post. Her entire Head First album is worthy of a listen.

Difficult

Uffie has been underground for what seems like forever and im so glad she's finally giving us a full official release cd. And its absolutely wonderful. Difficult almost has a Paper Planes [M.I.A.] feel to it but its still very different. And although at times she may sound like a Ke$ha, know that she was not only here WAY before Ke$ha, but is also more mature and actually knows what the hell she's doing. I hope her new cd, 'Sex, Jeans, and Denim Jeans' becomes the hit that it is.

Currency

This being probably the dark horse in the group, Currency is one on my favorite 'hood' tracks from Trina's latest LP 'Amazin' It's simply a guilty pleasure, one of those tracks you just can't get out of your head and if she is to release this as a single, its sure to be a club hit.

Clap Your Hands

I had the privilege of hearing her entire new album and its is absolutely refreshing and fun. I'm actually upset that i hadn't really given her a spin sooner and if you enjoy really good music, you will be too. This track, however, seems to follow me around everywhere and i absolutely love it. Its just....delicious.

Someone's Missing

It's a very unique track and simply beautiful to me. I'm actually not really sure what it is but its soo lovely to to me. MGMT has been in my heart since the'r last album and sparked my soul with "Electric Feel." Their new album is very well constructed and i love listening to it early Sunday mornings.

Elastic Love

As the flames from Aguilera's Bionic crash continue to burn out of control worse than the huge-ass oil spill, there is some things definitely worth grabbing and cleaning off in order to appreciate its value. Elastic Love is by far the best track from the album. It's lyrically and vocally apealling and contructed beautifully and it's definitely better than its ugly cousin, Bionic, the title track from the album. Before you pick up your pitch-fork and torch and get behind the angry mob, take a quick listen.
